Pei and perhaps Boston's most widely known building, is going up for sale, just a few years after Boston-based Beacon Capital Partners LLC bought the complex for $910 million. The mirrored, 60-floor Hancock Tower, built in the 1970s, was initially plagued by windows that fell out. Beacon Capital is engaging the financial firms Eastdil and Morgan Stanley to market the portfolio. Beacon is not expected to set an asking price on the buildings.
